Job Summary:

The Plant Manager will be responsible for maintaining quality extraction, processing, packaging, and shipping of Humates coupled with a devotion of service towards the companies goals; cultivating a solid foundation always ready for expansion.

How you will spend your time:

  • Determine the most efficient and effective mining methods according to the current veins of material. Material quality and accessibility is always changing, the difference in vein thickness will determine pit size, mining methods, opening directions.
  • Constant updates of the mining areas, keeping them under the target acreage. Estimating once we are close enough to do a reclamation turn in.
  • Send monthly mined and transported tonnage update to BLM (Bureau of Land Management) and BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs)
  • Ensure every customer and potential customer receives the upmost experience and their needs are met.
  • Oversee the crushing and sizing processing plant for our raw humate.
  • Oversee the packaging processes and monitor custom blending for customers and our products.
  • Ensure all orders have been entered accurately before moving them into production with an assigned date, scheduling orders to ship at the earliest date in conjunction with the process flow.
  • Be a role model for safety awareness across our Mine and Production Facility adhering to all MSHA guidelines and policies.
  • Design, engineer, and construct new material transfer, holding, sizing, processing, and packaging equipment, Oversee our millwright team in the building and installation of this equipment.
  • Monitor HA lab analysis and keep product CoA’s up to date.
  • Ensure all orders are loaded correctly and in a timely manner to not interfere with production.
  • Update permit modifications for reclamation.
  • Ensure there is enough raw material (Humate) to process, bags and totes, pallets, and ingredient material for blending.
  • Purchase materials and supplies, i.e. manufacturing materials, parts, project materials, pallets equipment.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of processing operations and mining processes.
  • Ability to coach reports to reach their potential.
  • Ability to solve conflict in a professional manner.
  • Ability to contribute ideas concerns, and policies on the leadership team.
