Huma Gro® Products: Ultra-Precision™ Blend (Fresca CA Strawberry Mix), Promax®, and Zap®
OBJECTIVE
This field trial assessed the effects on strawberry yields of replacing field fumigation with periodic applications of Huma Gro® Promax® and Zap® and replacing a grower’s standard fertilizer program with irrigation-applied Ultra-Precision™ blended liquid Huma Gro® crop nutrition products.
CONCLUSIONS

This trial also demonstrates that the Huma Gro® Ultra-Precision™ blend of liquid fertilizers applied through irrigation resulted in yields superior to the grower’s standard fertilizer program. The combination of Huma Gro® Ultra-Precision™ blend of liquid fertilizers plus the Huma Gro® fumigation replacement products of Promax® and Zap® (Treatment 1) increased yields by 97% over the control (Treatment 3).

One of the greatest inventions in history is the combine. The concept of threshing and separating grain in one operation revolutionized our food system, as well as redefined our labor force. Consider that in the mid-1800s, 90% of the US workforce was involved in some aspect of farming. Now it’s under 2%. To think my grandfather harvested corn by hand and threw the ears in a wagon! He used the pull-behind model in the 1940s to harvest small grains (that’s him, Fred Nichols, combining oats on our family farm). My mother still talks about dad wearing a Jesse James style mask while operating their first self-propelled combine without a cab.
Our Humic Advantage
Humic substances, among the most wondrous products of nature, are the recycled essential residues of life. Plants harvest the sun’s energy and create life from that energy plus the carbon and oxygen they pull out of the air and the minerals they pull out of the soil. When plants die, all of their components are
Video: Super Phos + Calcium Mixing Stability Test
English and Spanish subtitles are available. In this video, we demonstrate the unique compatibility of our highly concentrated Super Phos® 0-50-0 product when mixed with calcium. In traditional fertilizers, when phosphorus and calcium are mixed they can precipitate and fall out of solution. The resulting calcium phosphate can clog drip emitters and damage sprayers. Our
