I have always been interested in nature and how it works since I was a kid. I’m fortunate enough to develop that interest in my education and career as well. I have the most experience working with insects and other invertebrates. As the head of a field team in charge of collecting wild bees, I got pretty good at using a net. I love drawing animals, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and going on early morning hikes with my family.
