I first joined Huma in 1995 as a member of the production department, where I worked for six months. To this day, I still consider it one of the most enjoyable jobs I’ve ever had. In 2010, I returned as a receptionist, primarily handling label printing. My step-grandfather, Don Organ, was one of Huma’s founders, and my father was a dedicated employee for over 30 years before retiring in 2018. Having been surrounded by Huma for most of my life, I have developed deep roots of loyalty to this company.
Born and raised in Arizona, I take great pride in being part of a local organization with a global presence. As the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, my long-standing connection to both the company and the state has been invaluable in my mission to recruit top talent. I understand the local culture and the importance of finding individuals who can thrive here. I appreciate the familiarity of my home state and enjoy contributing to its growth through my work.
Academically, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Office Management with a minor in Communications from Brigham Young University–Idaho, as well as a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University. I am passionate about continuous learning and encourage employees to embrace the same mindset.
Outside of work, I’m a movie buff—there’s nothing better than a great film paired with popcorn, and Harkins Theatres does it best! Most importantly, I cherish time with my husband, who also works at Huma, and our two wonderful daughters. Our oldest lives and works nearby, allowing us to see her often, while our youngest is currently pursuing a degree at Utah Valley University.
