I first joined Huma in 1995 as a member of the production department and stayed until the summer. In 2010, I returned and worked as a receptionist, primarily focused on printing labels. My family and this company go way back. My step-grandpa, Don Organ, was one of the founders, and my dad was a dedicated employee here for a long time, retiring in 2019.
I was born and raised in Arizona, and it gives me immense satisfaction to be a part of a local organization that is recognized on a global scale. As the VP of Human Resources, my long history with the company and the state of Arizona has proven invaluable in my mission to recruit the very best talent. I understand the local culture and the importance of finding individuals who can thrive here. I find comfort in the familiarity of my home state and relish the opportunity to support its growth and development through my work.
Academically, I hold a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho, majoring in Office Management and minoring in Communications. I also have a master’s degree from Arizona State University in Organizational Leadership. I’m committed to constant learning and encourage employees to do the same.
On a personal note, I’m a movie buff, and there’s nothing quite like a good film and some popcorn to enjoy it with. Most importantly, I cherish the time spent with my husband, who also works at Huma, and two wonderful daughters. Our oldest resides in Hawaii, where her husband serves in the Army, making our visits less frequent. Meanwhile, our youngest is currently navigating her junior year of college at Utah Valley University.
