What is X-Tend®?
X-Tend® (6-2-0) is an enhanced efficiency fertilizer (EEF) additive that helps you get more out of your fertilizer and crop protection products. It has the highest concentration of Huma®’s proprietary Micro Carbon Technology®, which boosts nutrient stability, availability, and uptake. This product is also available with the addition of a blue dye for easy identification under the name “X-Tend® B.”

X-Tend® delivers equal or better yields than Agrotain™, but at a significantly lower cost. Based in humic substances, it offers a more sustainable alternative to traditional nitrogen stabilizers and nutrient additives, helping you tap into sustainability premiums by reducing your CI score.

Compatibility with Other fertilizers
Micro Carbon Technology® allows X-Tend® to be compatible with not only Nitrogen fertilizers, but also P, K, and other macro and micronutrient fertilizers. This product easily coats or mixes with most fertilizers and adds essential carbon chains which act as a carrier to get into the plant, either in the soil or the leaves. The formulation also helps in keeping the nutrient bioavailable to the plant and prevents precipitation, leaching and volatilization.
Compatibility with Crop Protection Products
Micro Carbon Technology® also allows X-Tend® to be compatible with most crop protection products, including fungicide, bactericide, insecticide, or herbicide. By adding X-Tend® to the tank-mix, farmers are able to get more out of their applications. Farmers can expect to see a faster product uptake, a quicker recovery, and an overall better response.

By adding just 2 qts/ton of X-Tend® or X-Tend® B to your dry fertilizer application (urea, DAP, MAP or Potash), or 1 qt/40 gallons to your liquid N-P-K-macro-micronutrients (28%, 32%, or other blends), you can reduce your application rates by up to 10%.

Who is Eligible?
To qualify for this limited-time offer, you must:
- Have at least 80 treated acres and 80 untreated acres within 1 mile of each other
- Get approval for locations and procedures from a Huma® representative
- Provide application details and end-of-season yield data to Huma by December 1st, 2025
Huma® guarantees no yield loss between treated and untreated areas. If the X-Tend® treatment causes a yield decline, Huma® will refund the full cost of the product to the farm.

How to Apply?
You can apply X-Tend® or X-Tend® B (which is marked with a blue dye for easy identification) to both dry fertilizers and liquid solutions. For easy application, simply coat urea, DAP, MAP, Potash, or other dry fertilizer blends. Additionally, it conveniently mixes with 28%, 32%, or other liquid N-P-K solutions and most pesticides, making it easy to use and versatile to handle. This product can also be applied alone, directly to the soil, to improve nutrient availability, boost microbial activity, and provide a powerful biostimulant effect to your crops.
